Innsbruck, June 26, 2012 – PC Electric GmbH, headquartered in St. Martin, Austria, plans to further optimise and automate its business processes by upgrading to the latest software release from Dynamics AX. This upgrade will significantly improve employee productivity at the company and further increase its competitiveness. PC Electric has been managing all of its business processes with the ERP solution Microsoft Dynamics AX since 2007. By upgrading its business software to AX 2012 – the latest release from Dynamics AX – PC Electric will gain greater productivity, flexibility and transparency in its business processes. Various standard functions in AX 2012 will replace individual expansions to the existing version 3.0. This will be an important step in terms of releasability and standardisation.

PC Electric will once again team up with its long-standing software partner terna to implement the ERP project. terna, a specialist in ERP implementation and business process management, will analyse all of the company’s business processes and workflows and optimise and automate them during the software upgrade process. PC Electric plans to implement Dynamics AX 2012 for 210 users at its main plant in northern Austria within two years. The company’s subsidiaries in Austria and abroad are also scheduled to successively transition to Dynamics AX 2012 directly after this upgrade.
